An uncertainty principle for life

Had an “aha” moment recently while thinking about, well you know, things ;). I would like to propose a variant of the uncertainty principle for life —

The amount of time you spend thinking about X x the amount of time you spend ‘experiencing’ X = constant(X)

X could be anything — happiness, working on a project, in general, anything you can ‘experience’. On many occasions, I have wondered about this dual state of my mind — I experience happiness/anger for no obvious reason, but once I start asking myself questions, I enter this observer mode which unfortunately affects the natural behavior of the brain (well, natural at least till I thought about it at that moment :)).

Note to self: don’t think too much; carpe diem! 🙂
